Who can run commands

near checks a short list before any staff command. Member reward roles never unlock moderation.

Typical grant

,fp add @role moderate_members

Staff Discord roles can stay at zero. near reads the fake key.

Allowed, in this order

The first match wins. Later gates are not checked.

  1. 01
    Server owner

The Discord owner can run every command.

  2. 02
    Discord Administrator

A real Administrator bit on a role they hold.

  3. 03
    Antinuke admin

The owner grants this with ,an admin. Those people can also open Configure on the dashboard.

  4. 04
    Fake administrator

A held role with the administrator fake key. That is not the Discord bit.

  5. 05
The key the command asks for

Warn, mute, jail, and timeout need moderate_members. Ban needs ban_members. Grant those with ,fp add.

Not enough on their own

Reward roles

Vanity, 18+, and other member reward roles never unlock staff tools.

Sitting in staff chat

Seeing a staff channel is not command access. Grant a key on a role they hold.

A leftover Discord bit

Staff Discord roles can stay at zero. near checks its own grants, not Ban Members on the role.

How the owner grants it

  1. 01
    One staff key

Mute, jail, warn, and timeout for a held role. ,fp add @role moderate_members

  2. 02
    Antinuke admin

People who should edit settings and hold the nuke switch. ,an admin

  3. 03
    Check a person
