What does near do in a server?
Staff tools, voice rooms, music, tickets, logs, and rep rewards. Turn on what you need. Leave the rest off. The reading path on /docs is the full walkthrough.
How do I add near?
Use Get bot. Pick a server you own. Approve the permissions. Put the near role above muted, jailed, vanity, and any role it will grant. Type commands in chat. There is no slash menu to wait for.
What is the prefix?
Each server sets its own. Examples on this site start with a comma. Show yours with ,prefix. Change it with ,prefix or in Basics on the dashboard if you own the server.
Where are the commands?
/commands is the searchable list. /docs has the tutorial, usage, aliases, examples, and setup guides. Same list Discord uses. ,help points at the site. ,help ban (or any name) shows that command in Discord.
What should I do in the first hour?
Invite, move the role up, ,ping, point logs with ,logs channel #staff or ,logs setup, run ,setupmute on a new server, grant one staff key with ,fp add @role moderate_members, then stop. The rest can wait. Read First hour in the docs.
Why doesn't my server say Configure?
Configure is for the Discord owner and antinuke admins (`,an admin`). Manage Server staff use Mass DM. If near is not in the server, add it. Confirm you signed in with the right Discord account.
Why did I have to sign in again?
The session is bound to this browser. Sign in again here if the cookie is missing. Refreshing a tab that already works does not need a new Discord hop.
Do dashboard saves apply in Discord?
Yes. An owner or antinuke admin save is the live bot. You do not set the same thing twice. Pick Discord or the web for each change.
Can staff edit settings on the website?
Discord owners and antinuke admins can edit Configure (including anti-nuke). Other staff with Manage Server use Mass DM. Fake permissions do not unlock Configure.
Do updates rewrite my server?
No. A deploy can improve how messages are read. It does not move roles or overwrite channels on its own. ,reload applies shipped filter and antilink updates you opt into. Layout reload only runs if this server picked an official near template.
Where do cases go?
The log channel you pointed with ,logs channel or ,logs setup. If that channel is missing, near cannot keep history after a restart. Split message and member events later with ,logs add.
What is the difference between mute, jail, and timeout?
Mute is a role until staff unmute. Jail moves them into the jail room. Timeout is Discord timeout with a clock. Image mute and reaction mute are separate roles from ,setupmute.
Do staff need Ban Members on Discord?
No. Grant a held role a real key with ,fp. Stored keys are Discord permission names, pic, spam_bypass, vc_bypass, and administrator. Words like moderator are rejected. Their Discord role bits can stay empty.
Why is there no sound?
The main invite is not enough for music. Run ,addbots and approve every Music bot Discord shows. Join a voice channel first, then ,play. One worker sits in one room.
Is the filter the same as antilink?
No. ,filter is the safety word list (leetspeak and lookalikes). ,antilink blocks discord.gg posts. ,spam is a third switch for chat bursts. Turning antilink off means no link is removed.
What is Embed Studio?
A visual builder with a live preview. It copies a script welcome, goodbye, and ,embed already understand. Include the prefix in the copy toggle if you will paste into Discord.
Are tickets set up on the website?
No. Use ,ticket panel in Discord, add topics, then ,ticket send. This site does not fake a panel builder.
Are rep rewards a second bot?
No. ,vanity runs on near. Put near above the reward role. The scan is not instant. Wait after they set the tag.
How do I see if near is up?
Open /status. One shard card. Latency is typical command reply time. You do not type a server ID.
What do you store?
See /privacy. Data is not sold. The Discord owner can ask for it to be removed.
