Music and addbots

The main invite is not enough. Invite workers, then play.

You will

A worker is in the call and a track can play, skip, and stop.

Examples on this site start with a comma. Your server can use a different prefix. Change it with `,prefix` or in Basics if you own the server.

Before you start

• You can manage the server. A voice channel is empty enough to join.

Set it up

1. Invite workers. The main invite is not enough for music. Run addbots and approve each Music bot Discord shows. Each worker sits in one room.

2. Join voice. You must already be in a voice channel. near will not pull you in from text.
3. Play. Search a name or paste a Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, or Deezer link. Queue, skip, and EQ stay in Discord.

4. EQ. Same presets as the homepage player. Bass, crystal, punch, and off. Set them with eq in the call.

Do not

• Do not expect the main near invite alone to play audio.

Troubleshooting

• Silence usually means no worker is in the channel. Run ,addbots again and approve every Music bot.
• One worker cannot play in two rooms at once. Invite more workers for more rooms.
• If a source fails, playback moves to the next working source.

Verify it works

• Join a room, play a short track, skip it.
