Rep Rewards
One bot. Members set a tag. near gives a role. They drop it, the role goes.
You will
A member with the tag in their status receives the reward role. Removing it takes the role back.
Examples on this site start with a comma. Your server can use a different prefix. Change it with `,prefix` or in Basics if you own the server.
Before you start
- Move near above the reward role. There is no second rep rewards bot.
Set it up
- Set the text. Set the text for this server. If you set /near, then /near, .gg/near, discord.gg/near, @near, and near all count here. Another server can set a different string.

- Pick the roles. On the dashboard, open Rep Rewards and click every role they should get. You can pick more than one. Save. near will not give admin or staff roles.
- Role position. near must sit above the reward role or the grant fails. The scan is not instant. Wait a minute after they set the tag.
- Award message optional. You can post a line when they earn it. Leave it off if you do not want noise.
- Unrep takes the role. If they remove the tag from their custom status, near removes the reward role. Going offline is not treated as an unrep.

- Do not invite a second rep rewards bot. This runs on near.
Troubleshooting
- If nobody gets the role, the bot is below it or the substring does not match.
- If it takes a while, wait for the next scan. Setting the tag and checking in two seconds is too soon.
Verify it works
- Set the tag on an alt. Wait for the scan. Confirm the role appears.
- Take the tag out of the status. Confirm the role is gone.
